Turning on key doesn’t do anything

What is your question?

Twice yesterday the key couldn’t be turned. While stepping on brake and turning steering wheel allowed key to turn. Today when I put the key in and turn it on nothing happens; no dash lights, radio, no clicking or grinding, the car does nothing.
