What is your question?
My 3-door hatchback is leaking water into the spare tire well. I found about a cup after a hard rain. I've read it could be weatherstripping, the drip rail, and/or cracks where drip rail ends at the hatch. The weatherstripping in the drip rails is totally loose on both sides. I dont see any cracks. Yet. Is there a DIY fix for glueing the loose weather stripping back into the drip rail? what kind of glue or sealant?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Rain and car wash

Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Yaris. Yes, you can attempt a repair on a leaking hatchback. For loose weatherstripping, use automotive weatherstrip adhesive (like 3M Super Weatherstrip Adhesive) to secure it back in place. Just clean the surfaces first, apply a thin bead of adhesive, and press the weatherstripping firmly into the drip rail. For added leak protection, check the entire perimeter of the hatch and drip rail for gaps. If you find any, it may be caused by a deformed seal that needs to be replaced.
