Have to turn key twice to start on my toyota yaris

2009 Toyota Yaris Hatchback. I have to turn tue key twice and all the lights work fine, they will flash on when I attempt to start it. It starts up on the 3rd attempt it starts up. Replaced the battery just a little over 30 days ago, so it isn't the battery. Also there is no check engine light that comes on. What is wrong with it?
