How would I know if the car is over heating on the dashboard

This car does not have a temperature gauge. A red high coolant temp light is the only thing that will show if your car is overheating. If it shows pull over and shut the car off as soon as possible. NOTE: If you start the car after it was not driven for a while (more than 2hrs), it is normal for a green temp light with COOL under it to show. This quickly goes away when you start driving or idle for a few minutes.
