What is your question?
Why does my truck continue to vibrate. after pulling a trailer . Trailer was completely empty. May I add. I noticed about 24 hours later that I had a very strong vibration anytime I went to 50 mph or over while pressing on the accelerator when I let off the accelerator it seems to level out. Once I hit about 80 mph it levels out. I had a new carrier bearing installed the wheels balanced and rotated. When I hit speeds about 50 to 75 mph as I'm pressing on the accelerator I get a very strong vibration. I'm trying to figure this out without wasting hundreds of more dollars

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Ah, the mysterious highway shimmy—it's like your truck's doing its own little dance. Since you've already tackled the carrier bearing and wheel balancing, let's dig a bit deeper. Given that the vibration occurs under acceleration, it could be related to the drivetrain. Check the universal joints (U-joints) on the driveshaft; they might be worn or misaligned. Another possibility is the driveshaft itself being out of balance or slightly bent, especially after towing. It's like trying to spin a wobbly top; it just won't stay steady. Also, inspect the engine and transmission mounts, as worn mounts can cause vibrations under load.
