Can the transmission shifter solenoids be replace in a 2008 Tundra or should the transmission be replaced. error code read that they might be bad.

Had transmission service (not by Toyota) worked great for about 2 weeks then started shifting hard. 3 light came on. Had error code checked and it said low on fluid or solenoids bad. Coincidentally battery went dead and had to replace. Once installed all codes cleared up and transmission work great again for about two weeks.
Now service lights back on and shifts hard.
