What is your question?
My ignition switch will not turn to the ACC position. The only time I can get it to work periodically is when I spray WD40 in it and then rapidly insert my key in and out. After a few tries it turns, but sometimes this solution doesn't work. I tried replacing the cylinder block, but that didn't work either and I still couldn't turn the key beyond the lock position. What other parts should I look at and diagnose?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Once it turns over and I get it started, I turn off the engine and then the ignition switch turns just fine
