What is your question?
My driver side control arm rusted and broke completely in half. When this happened the cv joint popped out of the gear box causing all of the gear lube to leak out. I got a new control arm, lined up and put the cv joint back in the gear box, and put the new control arm on. Now I just can't find where to add new gear lube back into it. I was told it is a bolt on the side of the transmission but that's not really helping, I'm not all that familiar with engines. I'm decent in general with this type of work to the point where I can do things like this myself or oil changes and brakes and the easier repairs, but realistically don't know much about engines. Also I don't know which kind is best for an older car like mine (93 Toyota Tercel, manual trans). Thanks for the help, much appreciated.

you did not loose all yur fluid. when the axle is removed. you will loose about a pint or so. take it to a shop and have them fill with proper fluid. Roy
Don't know if you'll see this mastertech6371 but the whole time my cv joint was out nothing more came out of gear box. Is there gear lube elsewhere that will be forced back into that are or something? Like now that the cv joint came out its just gonna be lower than it should be so go have it topped off???? Thanks for advice and help I appreciate it. -Josh
THAT ADVICE SUCKS
