What is your question?
The ignition switch is worn. Could that be related?

This sounds like you need to check the wiring for cuts / scrapes also were the lights connect/ions made.. look for corrosion were the bulbs plug in.. if corrosion is found clean the plug terminals hmm.. are two different fuses blowing or just one fuse here.. headlights go out or is it the dash board instrument panel lights going out.. sometimes upgrading to the next higher fuse amp rating will fix this problem.. it could be a small resistance problem.. or the headlights or light bulbs that have been replaced over time are using higher wattage.. lets say you have a 10amp fuse on an dashboard/instrument board UPGRADE it to 15 amps.. on the headlights upgrade the 20amp fuses to 30 amps.. since headlights draw more power anyways .
