What is your question?
Had this vibration come up in my 2023 Toyota Tacoma after a fender bender, had a couple shops align and balance tires with no luck, tried a shop that specialized on lifted vehicles, they said alignment was fine and tires were rotated and still makes vibration around 60+ mph, told me he wasn’t sure but was almost certain it wasn’t alignment or tires, he said it’s a consistent vibration, vibrates for a few seconds then stops, it’s a very noticeable pattern and nothing about the vibration has a changed. The truck drives straight and the vibration can be felt throughout the truck; I can’t pinpoint exactly where it’s coming from, and it seems to get stronger when letting off the throttle
What makes this problem better or worse?
Better if accelerating, can really feel the pattern when letting off the accelerator
How long has your 2023 Toyota Tacoma had this problem?
2 weeks

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. Wheel alignment will never, ever cause a vibration - especially at high speeds. Based on the concern occurring more when accelerating and then going away when letting off - and also based on your share that this is a lifted truck -- I am going to suggest someone check and adjust your driveline angle. If the driveline angle is too aggressive, you will get vibration on acceleration -- if you can imagine the body of the vehicle lowering slightly on acceleration (it's just physics!), this changes the angle of the driveshaft. The angle could cause a harmonic vibration during that time until the load releases and then shape of the angle changes. A good, intelligent technician at a shop specializing in lifted trucks should be able to recognize this concern and work with you to resolve it.
