What is your question?
Had to remove acc fuse because key will not come out of vehicle past acc position due to worn out shifter not registering that vehicle is in park, can I run my radio straight to the cars battery or somehow bypass the acc fuse?

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! This is a real conundrum! You can bypass the accessory fuse for the radio by connecting the radio directly to the car's battery. My professional advice would be to address the shifter though. It may be more expensive up front but taking care of that will save you a much bigger headache in the long run. Bypassing stuff can lead to all sorts of weird issues. So, that being said, you'll need to find a constant power source (usually a wire with power even when the ignition is off) in the vehicle's wiring harness and connect the radio's power wire to it. However, doing so means the radio will be powered constantly, which may drain the battery if the vehicle isn't driven regularly. If you have any other questions feel free to call us at 877-913-1554!
