Temp. gauge

Is your coolant boiling over? Temperature gauges that are pegged on hot can be due to a really hot engine, but can be due to a wiring issue or sending unit issue. Obviously if it's hot, don't drive it and have the engine overheating diagnosed. But if not, then looking at the sending unit and wiring would be the next steps.
