What is your question?
Ignition switch started not going to the lock position will only go back to ACC position sometimes and sometimes it will go all the way back to the lock position. I bought a new ignition lock cylinder and replaced it I unhooked the positive cable before replacing the switch after the switch was installed, I checked the switch, and it would turn from lock to start position and back to lock position like it should. I reinstalled the positive battery cable and tried to start the engine and it started like it should then went to cut off the engine the engine stopped but the key would only go back to the ACC position. I went back an unhooked the positive cable got back it the truck and the key would turn to the lock position. My Tacoma has over 300,000 miles on it and is an automatic with floor shift.
