My 2000 Toyota Tacoma srs pickup truck has hesitation when shifting into drive.

It usually happens early in morning or when is cold but seems to be happening more often! Dosent happen in any other gears only when shifting into drive.. transmission fluid and filter was changed a year ago.. I just learned about the solenoid switches.do you think this could be the problem even tho none of my dash lights are coming on
