Engine Squeal and sluggish

What is your question?

My truck makes a squealing sound each time I start it. It goes away in about 10 seconds, the belts are OK per mechanic. The truck has 172,000 miles and drives a bit sluggish and jerky for the first 2 or 3 minutes. Any ideas?
