I have a 2001 Toyota Tacoma auto trans with 44130,000 miles. Motor runs great, frame is bent. I bought a 1999 Toyota Tacoma manual transmission but it's got 385,000 miles and loading compression. Would love to have the 2.4 in the 1999 . Can they be changed?

What makes this problem better or worse?

Just low compression, loss of power
