What is your question?
2008 Toyota Solara 1118 miles car in good condition. The AC is working fine but the serpentine belt is squealing even louder when you turn on the air. It was adjusted a few years ago but now it is much louder. I was told to lube it but another mechanic said no I have to replace the compressor too. Per Toyota the Solara has 2 belts.
What makes this problem better or worse?

You only have to replace the ac compressor if it's bad. The question is should you do the belts while they are in there doing the compressor. Usually, you do if they are older and cracked up or making noise. Alex
