auto shop said i needed to drive car app. 50 miles nonstop to get a better readout. did say probably needed a sensor with the air bag in front seat on drivers side.does that story make sense? If so how much money are we talking about?

If this is an airbag light code, turn vehicle on and wait till idle settles in. Now if the airbag light is still on, move the front seats forward and back a few times. The light may turn off. This means the wire harness under the seat in either loose, has a loose wire or needs cleaned with an electrical parts cleaner.
