My 2005 camry se hesitates to accelerate, my check engine light is on

My car hesitates when accelerating , I have to floor it just to get it to go. And sometimes while driving my MPH will just drop it's very scary while driving on the highway. I took it to auto zone and was told my o2 senor is bad , and know the rpm is like in between 1and 0
