Sunroof will always open but when we go to close it, it will not immediately close with the button pushed in. We have to hold the button for minutes to get it to close. Sometimes we have to turn on and off the vehicle several times to get it to close. I feel that it has something to do with some type of module.

You may need to relearn on the sunroof motor. Press the CLOSE switch and keep it pressed until the sliding roof motor stops, then release it. Press and hold the CLOSE switch again. After 10 seconds, the system enters Initialization mode. Keep the CLOSE switch pressed, and confirm that the sliding roof moves in the following sequence: Full close (soft stop position) -> Full close (mechanical stop position) -> Full close (soft stop position) Release the CLOSE switch. Press and hold the CLOSE switch again within 5 seconds. Keep the CLOSE switch pressed, and confirm that the sliding roof moves in the following sequence: Full close -> Full open -> Full close Release the CLOSE switch. The Initialization sequence is now complete.
Thank you for the help, but nothing happened. It did not even go into the initialization mode.
