What is your question?
MY BRAKE LINES HAVE A LOT OF RUST. MECHANIC SAYS NEED TO REPLACE BOTH THE BRAKE HOSE AND SOME RIGID METAL BRAKE LINES WHICH ARE ATTACHED TO THE BACK METAL FRAME (AXLE AREA?) IF NECESSARY, TO DROP THE TANK AND REPLACE FURTHER METAL LINES UNTIL NO RUST SHOWS.
What makes this problem better or worse?
adding brake fluid so light doesn't come on.
How long has your 2010 Toyota Sienna had this problem?
few weeks

Hello, the replacement of brake lines is something that cannot be quoted from a labor time guide or even as a guest because you have to have physical experience with the present vehicle in its current condition. Definitely get competitive quotes, but this concern is definitely an "actual time" repair, and it's more important to have confidence and trust in your technician than anything else in this circumstance.
