My A/C sometimes turns on then starts slowly starts shutting off but can hear a noise but won't blow air out?

Hello, is it more that you have insufficient air flow, or is it more than it's not cold? Air flow comes from blower speed, blend door positioning, blower operation in general. Cold comes from the refrigerant system in the engine compartment with the compressor, refrigerant and related components. Too hard to say based on what you wrote.
