The brakes are very soft. Push down far to stop.

I would start by attempting to bleed the brake system again. Seems as though there may be air stuck in the system. If no air is found when bleeding, there may be a leak and or the brake master cylinder may be bypassing.

I just got into an accident on the freeway. My brakes were soft, it didn't even slow my car. I even pumped the brakes 2x and it still didn't slow it down fast enough like it should of been. My brakes are new also. I braked given ample time to slow down but the van didn't slow down like it should of.
