Cause of rear window, rear wiper and defroster failure?

I have seen two other people post the same question but unfortunately don't have an answer as to the cause or cure. Perhaps call a Toyota dealer or dealers in larger cities ask for there service department tell them you are miles away (so they won't try to lure you in) ask them if they have seen this problem.

I have a 2006 Sequoia. I can't tell you "why", but this has happened to me twice, and each time I removed and replaced every fuse under the dash. After doing this, the rear window, wiper and washer all worked again. Note - no fuses were bad. and I pull and replaced every one!

I answered this on a previos thread. Here is the shorter version. Lower window clean edges of window then raise window this will allow the micro switches to make full contact. This is per Toyota, mine works perfect now.

I also had rear window inoperative and rear defrost won't work. Fuses all good, heard click when pressing switch. I cycled switch up/down a dozen times then finally window opened. Cleaned window seal with Armorall, closed window now defrost works too. Thank you all for your advice!

I have a Sequoia 2006 SR5 4X2. The rear cargo door does not work nor the defogger and windshield wiper. I open the back and tap on the motor but no response to the front button on rear window. I also cleaned the window all around. Is the ECU black box in the rear cargo the power to the unit besides the motor to pull the window down. Anyone can tell me if the ECU is the power source to the defogger and windshield wiper besides the motor? I am trying to self fix the problem of my rear door window and defogger not working.
