What is your question?
Regardless of how much fuel is in the tank, after 1-2 hours of driving, there is a smell of gas fumes. No codes or check engine light. Service claims that I am “topping off “ my tank letting liquid fuel into the evap canister. I do not overfill my tank. The smell comes from the rear of the vehicle. Service claims that there are no leaks anywhere. This is accompanied by hesitation while accelerating.

Hi this is Dusty, I'm one of the auto experts on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Hey! In the 2022 Toyota RAV4, the EVAP canister is mounted on the driver's side of the body, toward the front of the vehicle. If the smell is coming from the rear of the vehicle, there may be an issue with a seal/gasket, vent tube, or a seam on the fuel tank. I would recommend having them take another look at the vehicle, the smell of gas doesn't mean there's liquid actually leaking somewhere. They'll very likely have to loosen the tank straps slightly to gain access to the top of the tank and find the issue. What you're experiencing means that there are vapors are flowing into the cabin. This is most notably when driving because the fuel is being sloshed around the tank, causing air to move and forcing the vapors out.
