Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. So sorry to hear you're having trouble with your vehicle. Seepage at the water pump indicates that a small amount of coolant is escaping from the water pump. This is often seen as a slight dampness or a crusty buildup around the pump's seals. While it may not be causing a noticeable loss of coolant, it can be an early sign that the water pump is starting to fail. Some manufacturers have a specified amount of seepage/leakage that must occur before the part is considered warrantable. I recommend keeping an eye on your coolant level and requesting that the technician inspect your water pump during your next service to ensure the condition has not worsened.
