What is your question?
I have found that mice may be entering through the under cover on the passenger side (under the glove box, interior) in my 2014 Rav4. It's part # 55607-0R010. The inner corner is hanging down and there's two holes where I think screws or clips may have been that hold the part up, but I'm really not sure. I haven't found any screw or anything that may have fallen out. I'm not really sure what it looked like before when it wasn't hanging down. Does anyone know if there's supposed to be screws or clip holding up the part that is hanging down?
How long has your 2014 Toyota RAV4 had this problem?
More than a month

Hi - Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. Rodent intrustion is such a problem. You're not alone - it's a common thing I've seen, coast to coast. There are very few ways to avoid this from the car side -- most of it is environmental. You might be looking at an area that looks exposed, but there are countless others that invite rodents in. You cannot prevent the access -- you can only deter rodents by creating an environment where you park that is a place they don't like to go -- or to add preventive materials to the car itself. It's difficult all the way around! Some parts stores sell rodent deterent sprays and there are lots of "home remedies" (some people suggest using hot sauce of certain kinds to prevent them from getting in!) . My best suggestion is try to exterminate them around where the vehicle is parked. This may be costly, but the environment is everything. It's impossible to prevent them - when they are present - from getting into the car. As far as the part you speak of - visit a shop near you to have it looked at. Too hard to know without seeing it.
