Hello, terribly difficult to know what is going on with your RAV4 from the computer here, but with some proper hands on diagnosis by someone that knows what they are doing, you will be able to see what's going on pretty easily. Sounds like the Ford dealer didn't have much understanding of what was going on, and this isn't surprising, since they specialize in Ford's, not Toyota's. A good Toyota experienced technician should be able to help out. Good luck.
