after we come to a complete stop and she applied the gas we’d feel a thump. I thought it was just the raggedy Las Vegas roads until she drove the car and pointed it out. What could this be? I got my front rotors replaced at the end of March. Since I never paid attention I’m not sure when it started. I barely drive.

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Mystery thump! Not cool! The thumping sensation could be caused by several issues and not those raggedy Vegas roads! Since you recently replaced the front rotors, it's worth checking if they are properly installed and torqued. Additionally, inspect the suspension components, such as control arms, bushings, and stabilizer links, for any signs of wear or damage. A worn or damaged CV joint or axle could also cause thumping and clicking when turning. You may want to have a pro take a look. If you need help finding a shop, give us a call at the number below!
