My car stopped running this morning, when I turn the key to start the car whines

I just happened this morning. I was driving to work, the check oil light came on, and as I was going up the hill she started to SLOW down, when I reached the top of the hill ALL the lights came on and stopped running. When I went to start her, there was this whining sound and nothing would turn on. Lights and radio all work fine

What makes this problem better or worse?

Hello, this does not sound good at all. It sounds as if you had no oil pressure for some reason and that internal engine damage has occurred. Have the vehicle towed to a local shop where someone can check the engine oil and see if the engine will turn with a wrench.
