What is your question?
For the last month the above lights have been coming on intermittently whenever I use the brakes to slow down and stop at a stop light; when I'm backing up out of parking spaces. I've contacted a toyota dealership who tells me the lights have to come on and remain on for them to do diagnostics and the diagnostics will cost $110. Any ideas what might be causing this to happen? This all began with 3 weeks of having the vehicle serviced..

I had the same problem with my Rav4 2008. Toyota told me the same. Took mine to Monroes Brake and muffler, they put a harness on mine and drove it. came up with 2 codes. So called toyota back told them the codes found. Cost me 100 to have diagnosis ran. they came up with 3 codes. c1249, c1223, p1578. Stating i needed a stop light/brake light switch. This fix the problem. All 3, VSC,ABS, Brake light stayed on. The ABS was the actual problem, which will cause both the VSC and Brake light to stay on. replace the brake light switch and problem fixed. use the last 10 digits on your vin number to get your OEM part #.
Many sensors are shared by the traction control system, anti lock brake system and engine/transmission (is the Check Engine Light on?). If the Check Engine Light has come on if so codes will be stored in the computer). Autozone and Ammco will check codes for free if there are any franchises in your area.
the check engine light is not on -just the other 3 lights
Check your brake fluid level.
I'll take it in and have it checked tomorrow
Try changing the brake light switch on the pedal I tried everything on 2007 ACA33 rav4 clearing codes and ended up buying switch from china, replaced and no more abs light!
I have the same issues on my 07 RAV4 limited with 2.4L engine. My VSC, ABS and Brake lights would come on almost everytime I drove it, but at different times. Turning off the engine and immediately restarting it, turned the lights off, but usually they came back on fairly soon. After reading these posts, I decided to see how hard it was to remove the brake switch. It took about 3 minutes. I pulled it apart and cleaned the contacts with a small file, put some lithium grease on it and reassembled it. It seemed to work fine from a "feel" perspective, and it ohmed out good. I reinstalled it, started the engine, and pumped the brake pedal over 100 times, using different speeds, and timing. No ABS, VSC or brake light came on. Now to drive it for the next week and see if that did the trick.
Exactly it. I spent 4 months with those lights on. I replaced a speed sensor (expensive)based off what I thought the codes(diagnostic)were...ABS/VSC still on....OEM brake light switch cost me $30 amazon,10min to replace it.👍👍 Thanks for posting.
