Can this vehicle be converted to a FWD vehicle?

Is it possible to remove that the Viscous Coupler (Requires Replacement/Noisey) and the Driveshaft from this 4WD vehicle and render this vehicle safely driveable as a FWD with without creating any safety concerns and/or causing any further damage?
