What is your question?
I posted a question today and received a reply (thank you). My question was about my throttle sticking/not depressing. In the response, the following was posted, "What typically happens is the Throttle Body gets filled with carbon and then the throttle will stick...make sure that the bore if the Throttle Body us really clean." What is a "bore?" Was that suppose to be "core?" Then, what makes the throttle body fill w/carbon? Is that why I am seeing white exhaust? If so, what could be the problem? Once againg, thanks much for replying!

The throttle Body bore is where the air goes in. The Throttle is actually composed of a Blade that rotates and opens to let in air. That is what the Throttle Cable does, it pulls on a round spool that is attached to the Throttle Blade, thus rotating it. All Throttle Bodies fill or get really dirty with with carbon, but Toyota vehicles get really dirty because their EGR system is very close to where the PCV system vents, which basically an oil mist that gets cooked by the EGR gases and forms a carbon sludge that will eventually bind the Throttle Blade in the Throttle Body. let me know if you have any more questions, I am here to help you. All the Best
