how do you fix a transmission problem rav4 2000 japan

What is your question?

i have a rav 4 2000 which takes time to accelerate at low speed but if you rav it first it sometimes performs well and sometimes its not smooth on changing gears at low speed milage is now 230000k i got it at 150000k and i never had a problem till now. no noises or leaks

What makes this problem better or worse?

its better when i rav the car first and its worse in traffic or travelling at low speed
