what might cause water to collect after a hard rain in the corners of my dashboa

What is your question?

I had my windshield replaced and recently had to return my car for odd noises that was caused by a "loose" bolt from my left front tire after buying four new tires and having my car aligned. I also no longer hear the humming sounds my car made when I turn it off. Does this all add up to something?

What makes this problem better or worse?

It does seem to collect more water when the engine is cold
