Long term storage

Hi - Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. You can't just leave this vehicle alone indefinitely without running it to keep the hybrid battery charged. It should be run at least once every two months. This is per Toyota's instructions. It will be necessary to have somebody run the vehicle for a period of time, every two months at the very least to maintain the state of charge for the hybrid battery.
