What is your question?
Shop wants timing belt replaced at 90k miles for about $1000. Is this reasonable? I’ve had no problems.

Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your vehicle. Your Prius uses a timing chain instead of a timing belt. Timing chains often last the life of the engine and don't require replacement at specific intervals like timing belts do. If the shop is recommending a timing belt replacement, it may be worth double-checking whether they made a mistake. Timing chain replacement is usually unnecessary unless there's noise or a problem related to it.
