Regular maintenance due at 101,800 and told engine/inverter coolant needing replacing at additional charge of $90.

The factory maintenance schedule states the Engine/Inverter Coolant should be replaced at 100,000 miles. If this hasn't been done yet, it should be performed to maintain the health of the cooling system. This kind of stuff should be in your owner's manual, so you can always check there for the manufacturer recommended service schedule. If you no longer have it, Toyota should have it available on their owner's site.
