Cylinder Replacement

Hi, I'm one of the auto experts on RepairPal's Car Genius team! I apologize, but I am a little unclear on your question. If there is an issue with a cylinder in your engine then it is definitely something you will want to take care of as it will affect fuel efficiency in the best case, and the life and use of your engine in the not too distant future. The cylinder itself is part of the engine block and isn’t replaceable separately, so Im not clear on what you mean by "cylinder replacement". It could be that the piston needs to be replaced or something else that is effecting that cylinder. However, without more information, it is a little difficult to give you more specifically of an answer. It does sound like something significant is going on with the engine that should be addressed as soon as possible.
