2010 Toyota Prius High pitched buzzing sound on the passenger side, only makes the sound when the AC is turned on. Check engine light comes on and stays on as soon as the car is started. Can I drive the car safely and without any other damage to the car until I can get it fixed?

The noise stays the same as long as the AC is on
