2010 Toyota Prius - Oil Change interval.

What is your question?

I bought this car about a month ago with 60,000 miles. The owner's manual says to change the oil & filter every 5,000 miles with 00-20 oil. Can this change be extended to 7,500 miles without harming any engine parts. Thanks for any advice that you can give me. John Larson
