I purchased a used 2010 Toyota Prius, with 60,000 miles about one month ago. The owner's manual says to change the 0-20w oil & filter every 5,000 miles. I have 2 other family cars that I service that go for 7,500 miles for a oil change, using the same 0-20w oil. One is a Madza CX-5 and a Subaru Forester. Can I go to a 7,500 oil change without hurting any engine parts? So far this car has not used any oil.
