What is your question?
Yes I've been getting headache when I put a defrost on and nausea when I put on the frost and Air conditioner. I changed my cabin air filter already. And my performance is running pretty bad making a little bit of noise it went through the mechanic they say there's nothing wrong with my engine. One to another mechanic Firestone complete Auto for car Care they say they smell ammonia near my exhaust in the cabin. But there's no leak at all went to the muffler they say there's no leak at all from the exhaust. So I don't know what it is and I can't defrost my windshield because it's foggy. I did everything already except for changing my coolant I haven't changed my coolant yet. I don't know what that's connected or not. I'm afraid of carbon monoxide.

If your exhaust system is intact from the engine to the back of the vehicle, it can be assumed the vehicle is operating as designed, and nothing further can be done to remove exhaust from around the vehicle. There is no test procedure to determine if there is too much carbon monoxide in the vehicle, but if the exhaust system is intact from the engine to the tailpipe - it can be assumed there is no trouble. Perhaps seek guidance at a local shop near you for another opinion. Check this link to find a shop: https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me
Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Sounds like Dave covered the exhaust leak aspect of this but when you say ammonia I think of...you don't want to hear this...RODENTS! There could be an exhaust leak but the ammonia and the lack of defrost sound like something I've seen before. Even if you've changed the cabin filter, there could be some furry friends in the blower motor housing. But it doesn't explain the poor performance. This sounds like you'll need to take it to an experienced shop that works with hybrids. If you have any other questions feel free to call us at 877-913-1554!
