What is your question?
4 weeks ago I got the dreaded P121 code (no triangle) and took it to the mechanic and he replaced it with a new valve, bled the coolant and added more. 2 weeks later, code popped up again! He picked it up, took it another mechanic he knows to see what he could find, and he didn't find anything. He did completely drain the fluids, added it back, bled it, and replaced 2 blown fuses/relay. it's has been about a week and a half and yet AGAIN, the code popped up P1121. WHY on earth would this keep showing after replacing it? I was thinking shoot maybe it's not the actual pump, but the tubing that leads into it (that would feed into the pump) or something else outside of it. I am not hearing any noises or noticing anything different. I know my prius always has a slow acclerant when getting on the interstate so I can't tell you if that is reduced or anything. Thanks for the help!
What makes this problem better or worse?

Hi this is Dusty, I'm one of the auto experts on RepairPal's Car Genius team. I'm sorry to hear that you're still experiencing that issue with your Prius, especially after replacing the coolant valve and other steps. If there are other codes stored, those may be contributing to the issue and will also need addressed prior to resolving the P1121. Modern vehicles can sometimes be fickle with aftermarket parts (especially true with Toyotas) the valve you installed might be defective, sometimes using an OEM part can be the remedy. I'd double check the installation and connections, if the coolant flow through the hoses (and the valve) is incorrect it can cause cooling system malfunctions. Bleeding the hybrid system isn't always as straightforward as bleeding an engine, so there could be air pockets stuck in the cooling system causing issues.
