What is your question?
I took my 2006 Toyota Prius for used car check to a Toyota Dealership and later for New York State inspection. I was told I needed tires three bulbs changed filters changed and they changed spark plugs without authorization all of this cost $835.00. After driving for 35 miles ABS, VSC, BRAKE SYSTEM WARNING LIGHT, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, LOW TIRE PRESSURE LIGHT (which was on after new tires were put on), and Master Warning light came on. I was told to drive it to dealership and they would take a look at it. After 15 min. I was told I needed a HV battery and it would cost $3225.00 +. I purchased this car 8 months ago and feel I've been lied to from the beginning and now this. I need to know if the dealership should have checked the condition of the HV battery durning their inspections before selling me $835.00 worth of parts and labor for the car. I owe $4700.00 on the car now it sits not being able to drive it because of the warning lights.
How long has your 2006 Toyota Prius had this problem?
