03 Prius, Shop is telling me that the Inverter Coolant Pump needs to be replaced

Car totally shut down on Freeway. Warning light came on and everything shut down. Hybrid Battery was replaced 5 months ago. Along with a new 12V battery. Shop is saying that because of the higher temperature that day. It was midday 80 degrees.
It is causing the 12V to be drained. They want to replace the Inverter Coolant Pump. No mention of the Hybrid Battery being bad. I was told that No Codes came up when first towed to the shop.
