whats wrong if the A/C runs warm air blowing but sometimes cold?

It could be many things, unfortunately and without experiencing the problem first hand or being able to do some basic diagnostic tests its hard to say. Air conditioning systems are temperamental to work on and I suppose in the auto repair industry have the highest repair dissatisfaction rate and come backs. The system needs to have gauges put on it to check system pressures.
