Hello, For all vehicles, one end of the starter must be located at the intersection of the engine and transmissions. This is because the starter turns the flywheel, and that is where the flywheel is located. Some vehicles will have a cover or heat shield for the starter, but in general they are mounted on the front, back, top of the transmission.
