I had the fan on high (no heat just the fan) and all of a sudden it just stopped? is this major or minor?

What you did not tell us is if the blower will work in any other speed (setting). If it does, most likely its a blower resistor. AUTOTECHPAT is corect that you could have a bad switch also.
Check the 30 Amp fuse marked Heater, it sends power to the fan motor, the Blue/Red wire at the heater motor should have 12 volts with the key on to the run position. Temporarily ground the blue/black wire at the motor and the blower should work on high if so the fuse wiring to the motor and blower motor are good. If blower motor works when blue/black wire the blower motor resistor is the most common problem, or possibly blower motor switch could be bad.
