Why does my fuse that controls my gauges on the dashboard keep blowing

Sounds like the fuse on the circuit controls a few different components. Dashboard gauges, overdrive engagement and possibly more. It's a matter of locating the circuit on a wiring diagram and then digging in to find out what components are related -- then checking the wiring to all of it to find the short circuit. I am seeing "gauges" as fuse #5, a 10 amp fuse, but am not sure how this could relate to Overdrive honestly.
